Capt. Alok graduated from Indian Marine Academy with distinction. There after he has served in different ranks on board ocean ship while the vessel was on unlimited voyages. He had completed mate, master exam and achieved highest rank onboard the ship. After sailing as captain for several years he retired and started working as marine surveyor in 1986.
